Static Detailing & Ceramic Coating LLC is a premiere auto detailing service providing care to the Long Island and Queens region of New York. Opened in 2015 by Bill Shaughnessy and Mike Necsutu as Static Detailing, the duo provided auto detailing as a way to make a few extra dollars at the end of the week and get cars that they love looking right. The business's goal was always to offer the highest quality work for an affordable rate and after a year of amazing growth and detailing, they decided to professionally part ways for Mike to take over Static Detailing in order to offer more services and grow the business to what it is today. 7 years later and thousands of cars detailed, Static Detailing was rebranded and structured as Static Detailing & Ceramic Coating LLC, offering the highest quality paint correction, ceramic coating, and auto detailing on the market.
About Mike
A car guy and hands-on worker from a young age, Mike Necsutu of Jamaica Queens, NY ran what was Static Detailing for 7 years before changing the name and business structure in 2021 to Static Detailing & Ceramic Coating LLC. With a background in science, Mike now spends his time in two fields of work. One, as a ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist at a local gym in West Hempstead, NY and two, as an IDA Certified Detailer with 7+ year’s experience running Static Detailing. While in college finishing his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Sciences, Mike was given the opportunity to dwell in chemistry. Having already been working as a detailer for a few years, he saw this as an opportunity to use his studies to learn more of the chemical and physical compositions that make detailing what it is. To this day, Mike uses his collective knowledge and experience of both fields to continuously advance in the technological and chemical products and techniques that offer superior results.

You either had the “$10 car wash guy” that’s a self-proclaimed “detailer” and ends up swirling your paint or the big-time detail shops that charge $400 for a basic detail with good results but a heavy hand in your pocket. There was no middle ground, no best of both worlds. I wanted to fix that. I wanted to do it right but honestly, I also didn’t want to go broke either. So, I started learning. The passion was on fire and quickly growing. I knew with the right techniques and approach that I’d be able to give a VIP level job at a reasonable price while still bringing in a profit in order to grow. With the knowledge and work we've put together, I'm proud to say that Static Detailing & Ceramic Coating is and will continue to be the top dog offering the best of both worlds.
